Bradul Chalet

Bradul Chalet is made out of wood; all the ornamentation and the wooden craft inside have been handmade by Mr. Tisca and his son in their own carpentry studio.

Set in the middle of the country, a few kilometres away from Brasov, Moeciu is surrounded by stunning mountains on all sides. It is placed so high in the mountains (1200 m altitude) that there is no road going further. The world stops here! The landscapes are magnificent, and panoramic natural surroundings will leave you in awe.  

The summers are cool and the winters are heavy with snow. This lovely place is like a fairyland.

The main occupation of the inhabitants is animal breeding, which is why the village has a long tradition in preparing various types of cheeses from old recipes.

Bradul Chalet offers its guests a beautiful garden with swings, wooden benches, barbecue facilities and chaise lounges for sunbathing. There is only nature all around you, enchanting you with beautiful vivid colours and fresh air.

The kitchen is completely equipped with all the necessary utensils for cooking and serving meals, and there is also a large living room.

Sitting on the covered terrace, you can listen to the little river that flows in front of the chalet, relax reading a book or admire the mountains in front of you.

The hosts offer hiking tours of the hills and mountains surrounding the village, as well as courses for preparing the most delicious cheese you have ever tasted. You can also visit the farm and milk the cows, ride horses...all in all experiencing the traditional mountain village life.

There is also a shop that rents bicycles and sleds available on the premises.
