Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:
"As we are looking for the quality and the sustainability of life on earth, our hotels reflect our believes. How de we do it?
We are collecting the waste on separate categories (paper, glass, plastic). The cars we are using are hybrid. We conserve the thermical energy by improving the isolation of the three hotel buildings. For cleaning, we are using biodegradable detergents. As these detergents are made using natural oils, we are not poisoning the water with all the chemicals the normal detergents are made of. As green spaces are very valuable inside the cities, we decided that instead of a concrete parking area, to build and maintain on our own, a beautiful green garden in the interior part of Ambient Guesthouse.
We also cherish and sustain the small, organic farmers in the area surrounding Brasov. Many of the tasty, natural products served to our guests are bought from these farmers: different types of cheeses, vegetables, fruits and meet products."
